Schweppes Australia is the Australian branch of beverage company Schweppes, having arrived in the country in 1850. In 1877, the first factory was built in Sydney. Formerly the beverage division of Cadbury Schweppes, the company was separated on the 27th of February 2009, and in April, Schweppes Australia was acquired by Asahi Breweries.
Schweppes Australia is a licensed distributor of American brands such as Pepsi, Sunkist, Mountain Dew, Monster Energy and Gatorade. They also produce their own line of soft drinks, as well as many other Australian brands, including Solo, Passiona, Cottee’s Cordial, Spring Valley Beverages, Pop Tops and Cool Ridge, and Frantelle spring water. In 2011, Asahi acquired P&N Beverages (Sale details.)
The head office is located in Melbourne, Victoria. There are 11 manufacturing sites across all mainland states and sales offices in each state.
