Saraswati Vidya Mandit is an Indian co-aid kindergarten, primary and middle school located at Birsa Dahar in Rourkela, Odisha.
Origins
It was established in 1982 by the Haryana Nagarika Sangh Trust, which was part of Vidya Bharati Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Sansthan to promote primary school education facilities to the students of Rourkela.
Accreditation, admission and staff
The school is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), New Delhi, pattern of education and has accreditation of ISO 9001:2000 certification.
The school offers education course to the students of kindergarten to tenth class.
As of June 2015, Seema Rani Dash Sharma was the school's principal.[2]
Education system and courses offered
The school follows the CBSE system and has continuous tests and assignments.
It has nearly 780 students from kindergarten, class I to X. It prepares the students of Class X for CBSE's All India Secondary School Examination.
Facilities
The school has a primary resource room, science laboratories, computer rooms with television, LCD and overhead projector facilities, playgrounds and gardens and a library.
