Sarah-Lorraine Riek (born November 15, 1992) is a German actress, model and beauty pageant titleholder who was crowned Miss Universe Germany 2015 and represented Germany at the Miss Universe 2015 pageant.
Personal life
She has already titled as Miss Bavaria, Miss Internet at the Miss Deutschland 2012 and contestant at the Miss Exclusive of the World. During her reign as Miss Bavaria, she started working as an ambassador and founder of an awareness and prevention project for cervical cancer in cooperation with the Euromed clinic in Fürth, Germany. Sarah-Lorraine grew up in South Korea, Malaysia, Sweden and the US. She holds a degree in business and law and aspires to be a lawyer for human rights.[1]
Miss Deutschland 2012
Riek previously crowned Miss Bavaria 2012 and competed at the Miss Deutschland 2012 on May 27, 2012 in the historical city of Halle, Germany. Riek was awarded Miss Internet by the Miss Deutschland Organization.[2]
Miss Universe Germany 2015
On October 11, 2015 Riek was crowned Miss Germany Universe 2015 at DorMero, Bonn, Germany. As Miss Germany, she competed at the Miss Universe 2015.
Miss Germany winners in history: In 1961, Marlene Schmidt won the Miss Universe crown for this European economic superpower. However, the last German beauty to make it to the semis of Miss Universe was way back in 2002 when Natascha Börger made the cut in the pageant held in Puerto Rico.[3]
Miss Universe 2015
Sarah Lorraine-Riek was sent to represent Germany in the Miss Universe 2015 pageant held at Planet Hollywood, Las Vegas on December 20.
