Sander Rätsep (born April 24, 1988) is a Canadian-Estonian volleyball player currently playing for Pärnu in Estonia. He is 1.95 m (6 ft 5 in) tall, 93 kg (205 lbs.), and plays mostly at the opposite hitter position.

Club career

Rätsep played college volleyball for Dalhousie Tigers. He helped the team win the Atlantic University Sport (AUS) championship each year and was named the AUS Most Valuable Player in 2009 and 2010.[1] He signed with his first pro team in 2012 as he started playing for Supervolley Enns in Austria. In January 2014 he returned to his native Estonia to play for TTÜ volleyball club. In the summer of 2016 Rätsep signed with one of the top Estonian teams Pärnu volleyball club.[2]

National team

Rätsep has been part of the Canada men's national volleyball team.[3] He represented Canada at the 2011 Pan American Games, at the 2012 Volleyball World League and at the 2012 Pan-American Volleyball Cup. He was also part of the Canada student's team at the 2009 Summer Universiade.
