Sandeep Beniemadho Badloe (born March 24, 1988) is a Dutch-born Surinam-Hindustani singer-songwriter and music teacher. Born in Amsterdam, Netherlands, he appeared in a special Holi item by Foundation Hindu Media as a young adult.[1] In the late 2000s, Badloe rose to prominence as the youngest Baithak Gana singer singing classical to modern styles.[2] Badloe stated that his music is influenced by the great Ramdew Chaitoe, Isaac Yankaran and Rakieb Wagid Hosain.[3]

Career

Early 2013, Badloe was called by Raj Mohan for an ambitious show collaborating with the Metropole Orkest and the Indian singer Asha Bhosle, which resulted in an amazing show in World Forum Convention Centre with conductor Arjan Tien.[4] Becoming the youngest Baithak Gana singer ever to perform with a Western symphonic orchestra.[5] In late 2013, a collaboration between Badloe and DJ Zunils lead to a tour to Surinam with artists as Ashni Matadin, Anand Bhajan and Kishen Bholasing[6] called I Love Baithak Gana.
