Sabine Gruchet (born 17 November 1975) is an Australian model from Sydney, Australia. She is a former model on the game show Wheel of Fortune[1][2] produced by Grundy Television.

Early life and family

Sabine Gruchet was born in Tahiti to Michelle and Suzanne Gruchet. She spent the first years of her life in her native country, after which her parents moved to Sydney, New South Wales. Her parents separated when she was young[3] and her father returned to France. At the age of 15, Gruchet was scouted by mainstream agency Elite Model Management whilst she was in her local Sydney supermarket.

Modeling career

As a straight-size model, Gruchet appeared on Australian magazine covers and as a face of Australia’s locally produced version of Wheel Of Fortune.[4] She also participated in campaigns for Wella, Hyundai and Cannon. She completed a degree and ventured into the world of selling luxury cars. Then Gruchet returned as a plus-size model promoting healthy self-esteem for young women. She lives in London, and is engaged primarily in plus-size modeling for several clothing lines.[1]
