They were launched in 2001 in Glasgow, Scotland and are now a division of Newsquest.[1]
In 2012, s1jobs had a TV ad banned by Clearcast. Clearcast ensure adverts comply with the Advertising Standards Code and banned it on the grounds that the character was “enduring taunting and bullying”.[2][3]
Services
The company provide a website which allows companies post their vacancies but it does not recruit for specific occupations. It also allows job candidates to post their details as a career profile for prospective employers.[4]
