Rostock – Landkreis Rostock II
Rostock – Landkreis Rostock II is one of 299 single member constituencies used for the German parliament, the Bundestag. One of six districts covering the state of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern, it covers the city of Rostock, as well as the north-eastern half of the district of the same name. The constituency elects one representative under the mixed member proportional representation (MMP) system. Under the current constituency numbering system, it is designated as constituency 14.
The constituency was created for the 1990 election, the first election in a unified Germany.
