Robert Stefanowksi is an American businessman in the financial services industry and currently the chief executive officer of DFC Global, a Lone Star Funds company, based in London, England.[1]

Career

Prior to DFC Global, Stefanowski was the Chief Financial Officer of UBS Investment Bank; Chairman and Managing Partner, Asia and the Americas for the 3i Group; and President and CEO of GE Corporate Finance Europe. He spent the first five years of his career in public accounting with PricewaterhouseCoopers.[2]

Stefanowski is a Fellow at the Wharton School of Business, a Visiting Professor of Management Practice at Oxford University and a member of the Cambridge University China Advisory Board.[1] He was appointed by then Prime Minister Gordon Brown as a trustee of the Victoria and Albert Museum in London where he was Chair of the Investment and Finance Committees.[3]

Education

Stefanowski received his bachelor's of science degree in accounting from the Fairfield University Dolan School of Business in 1984 and master's in business administration from Cornell University Johnson School of Business in 1992.[2]
