Riaz Hussain Peerzada is a Pakistani politician who is the current Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination.[1] A member of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz), Pirzada previously held the cabinet portfolio of Minister for Health in 2011 and Minister for Professional and Technical Training from 2011 to 2012.[2]

Peerzada is a member of the National Assembly of Pakistan, currently representing NA-186 (Bahawalpur).[3]

Education

Pirzada received his LL.B Degree from University Law College, Lahore in 1969.[2]

Career

Pirzada was elected as member of Provincial Assembly of Punjab in Pakistani general election, 1985 where he served until 1988 and held the portfolio of Provincial Minister during the tenure. He was elected member of National Assembly of Pakistan in Pakistani general election, 1993 and again in Pakistani general election, 2008. He was made the Minister for Health in 2011 and Minister for Professional and Technical Training in 2011 where he served until 2012.[2]

He was elected as member of National Assembly of Pakistan in Pakistani general election, 2013 and was made Minister for Inter-provincial Coordination.[2]
