Ravi Kanojia (1982 − 9 May 2016)[1][2][3][4][5] was an Indian photographer and photojournalist. He worked with The Indian Express as a principal photographer in New Delhi.
Early life
Born in Ludhiana, Ravi Kanojia started his carrier with The Indian Express newspaper in 2002 from Ludhiana. In 2009 he was transferred to Delhi.[6]
Awards
He was honoured for creative excellence by the Press Council of India in 2014 for his coverage of displaced in the Muzaffarnagar riots.[7][8]
Death
He was electrocuted on railway tracks while on an assignment to cover a water train in the drought hit region in Jhansi, Uttar Pradesh on May 09, 2016.[9]
