Kalidasa is said to have lived after he left Ujjain.
A big rock standing in plains roughly in the shape of elephant forms a hillock with several caves in it. One of these caves in Ramgarh is supposed to be the ancient amphitheater, or Natyashala, where the plays of Kalidasa were performed.
