Rakura tea
Rakura is a tea brand from Himal Tea Industries [1][2] founded in 1973, a company from Nepal which launched Rakura tea brand in 2012.[3][4][5] It is a popular tea choice for tea drinkers in Nepal. It has its presence in over 14 countries.[6] "Drink Health" is the company's Tagline, which refers to tea as a health beneficiary drink.[7] It provides its product in an eco-friendly way such as its decomposable Tea bag. Himal Tea Industries Pvt Ltd is one of the oldest manufacturer of Nepali tea.[8][9][10][11]
History
The tea estate of was founded by Ram Kumar Rathi in late '70s,upon whom the brand has been named from the first two initials Ra-Ku-Ra.
