Raffles International College Bangkok
Raffles International College, Bangkok is a campus of Raffles Education Corporation, offering international degrees in both design and commerce programs recognized by the Australian and Singapore government. It is the first international design institute in Bangkok. And they were awarded with the title of "Best Design School" for outstanding achievement in the advancement of Arts and Design by Her Royal Highness Princess of Thailand Soamsawali in March 2007.
Raffles in Thailand has never purported to issue a Thai degree and its students enroll to gain an Australian degree, which has been certified by the New South Wales Department of education. In essence, Thailand does not allow any tertiary providers to issue only foreign degrees. Instead all operating education providers should provide local qualifications. Hence, Raffles in Bangkok has strived to continue providing tertiary education but double batch with both local and foreign qualifications.
Raffles has recently celebrated its 25th year anniversary.
Raffles has recently moved into the west with schools opening in Switzerland, Milan and the United States.
