RTV (Bengali: আরটিভি) is a satellite television channel broadcast from Bangladesh. It was launched on 26 December 2005.[1] It mainly broadcasts programs in Bengali. The head office of this TV channel is in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka.
In 2012, RTV began to broadcast all its content live-online to viewers around the globe through the website Viewers World.
History
On 26 February 2007, a fire broke out at the building from which programs were broadcast; as a result, the station was taken off the air temporarily. Three people died and over 100 were injured in the blaze.
