The Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (Pashto: پښتونخوا ملي عوامي ګوند / Urdu: پختونخوا ملی عوامی پارٹی) (PkMAP) is a Pashtun democratic political party in Pakistan. The aim of PkMAP is to unite the Pashtuns of Balochistan, Khyber Pukhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas.[1] Mahmood Khan Achakzai is the current party chairman and the then first general Secretary was Abdul Razaq Khan Dotani who not only carried on the mission of Khan shaeed but also got the Mazdoor Kisan Party in Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Ithihad, which later on converted into the Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party during the era of Mahmood Khan Achakzai being in Kabul at the time of administration of President Muhammad Zia-ul-Haq. Abdul Rahim Mondokhail Advocate is the deputy chairman and a current Senator of Pakistan. Sher Ali Bacha was the first Secretary General of Pukhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party. The party boycotted the 2008 general elections in protest at what the party regarded as the unconstitutional election held by the party in Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Ithihad which later on converted into Pakhtun-khwa Milli Awami Party during the era of Mahmood Khan Achakzai being in Kabul at the time of administration of President Pervez Musharaf.
Dedicated to the quest for equal rights and identity for Pashtuns in Balochistan, the party also demands a new province for the people it represents.
