Project South (organization)

Project South: Institute for the Elimination of Poverty and Genocide (or Project South) is a non-profit organization based in Atlanta, Georgia. The organization was founded in 1991,[1] and incorporates sociological research into education and organizing projects.[2]

The organization collaborates with the Black Lives Matter movement in organizing civil protests,[3] though the group also represents an anti-capitalist perspective from within the movement.[4]

The organization also helped develop a national agenda for Black Lives Matter.[5]
