Pradeep Nagar (born 10 December 1989) is an Indian actor who works in Hindi cinema, television and short Films.

Early life

Nagar was born on 10 December 1989 in Sadullapur, a small village in Gautam Budh Nagar District of the Western Uttar Pradesh State (Harit Pradesh) of India. He was the youngest of two children. He graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree from M M H College, Ghaziabad. Following this, he worked as a waiter in Hotels, Sales Manager in ICICI Lombard, Airtel, Tata Indicom before leaving for Mumbai to pursue a career in Bollywood. He has acted in over 60 plays with Dr. Vimla Gupta Natya Manch and Kshitij Repotery.

Acting career

Having begun his acting career in theater, Nagar's television break came in 2010, when he was offered a part in the television serial Sshh… Koi Hai. His success in Sshh… Koi Hai was noted by Yashraj, who selected Nagar to play the role of Parikshit in their Television series Seven and Khottey Sikkey. Nagar also was cast in Bandini with Ronit Roy.

In 2011, Life OK cast Nagar as a lead character in the first story in Savdhaan India.[1] The first story was successful, with high TRPs which led to Nagar being cast in further stories in the season.

He shared screen along with Emraan Hashmi in the opening scene of Crook mixed inside crowd. Nagar made his Bollywood debut in 2014 besides the lead pair of Highway, Randeep Hooda and Alia Bhatt, Pradeep Nagar (Tonk) was the one who played important character as Hooda’s (Mahabir Bhati) accomplice. He did a short film Going Home in 2014, where he appeared with actress, Alia Bhatt which was directed by Vikas Bahl and produced under the banner of Anurag Kashyap. After that his upcoming Short Film will be Breaking the Seal, directed by Shiladitya Moulik. He also played a negative character in Hollywood Venture Shemshook which will be release soon.

In 2015, Pradeep Nagar started his own production company, Dev Kabir Films. The company's first production was a short film titled Women, written by poet Uday Prakash and narrated by Irrfan Khan. He is planning to produce a Hindi Feature Film in 2016.
