Pooja Mor is an Indian Fashion Model[1] and former Beauty Queen.[2]

Whilst at university, Pooja Mor won the Ahmedabad regional finals for the Clean & Clear Ahmedabad Times Fresh Face in 2012.[3] After her studies she left Gujarat and told her parents she was going on vacation, instead went to Delhi to try fashion modelling.[4] During this time she entered her second beauty pageant, Indian Princess 2013 and represented her city of Ahmedabad.[5][6] She went unplaced at Indian Princess 2013 which was won by Sharon Fernandes.[7]

Working as a freelance model in Delhi, Pooja was featured in the November issue of Femina India in 2013.[8] She was later contacted and signed by her current Indian mother agency, Anima Creative Management.[9] Whilst working in India, another model with Elite Model Management took a photo of Pooja and posted it on Instagram, from there interest came Elite New York who signed her in 2015.[9]

As a fashion model Pooja has walked for Stella McCartney, Roberto Cavalli, Louis Vuitton, Givenchy, Alexander McQueen, J.W Anderson, Topshop and has appeared on covers for Italian Vogue, Numero China, Simon, Verve India, Femina India and Harpers Bazaar India.[10]

Her debut show was on the Louis Vuitton runway for the Cruise Show collection in 2015. In Spring/Summer 2016, Riccardo Tisci brought Givenchy to New York, where Pooja Mor took a nasty fall, which went viral across the web.[11][12][13][14]

Early life

Pooja Mor was born in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh, but moved to Gujrat at a young age.[15]

Pooja attended Nirma University in Ahmedabad and completed a Bachelor of Technology in Information Technology (B.Tech in BIT) in 2013 [3]
