Plamen Asparukhov (Пламен Аспарухов, born 8 May 1960 in Pernik) is a Bulgarian male former weightlifter, who competed in the heavyweight class and represented Bulgaria at international competitions. He won the bronze medal at the 1981 World Weightlifting Championships in the 110 kg category. He participated at the 1980 Summer Olympics in the 100 kg event.[1] Asparukhov had furthermore the following podium finishes at European championships: bronze in the 1979 and 1980 European Championships Sub-Heavyweight class and bronze in the 1981 European Championships Heavyweight class (405.0 kg).
