Pietra Ligure is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Savona in the Italian region Liguria, located about 60 kilometres (37 mi) southwest of Genoa and about 20 kilometres (12 mi) southwest of Savona. Mainly touristic city, as of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 9,101 and an area of 9.7 square kilometres (3.7 sq mi).[1]
The municipality of Pietra Ligure contains the frazione (subdivision) Ranzi.
Pietra Ligure borders the following municipalities: Bardineto, Boissano, Borgio Verezzi, Giustenice, Loano, and Tovo San Giacomo.
