Pedalanka is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is located in Bhattiprolu mandal of Tenali revenue division.[3] [4] It is a part of Andhra Pradesh Capital Region.[1]

Government and politics

Pedalanka gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[5][6] The panchayat has a total of 8 wards and each ward is represented by an elected ward member.[7] The ward members are headed by a sarpanch and the present sarpanch is Pedapudi Prameela Rani.[8][9]

Education

The primary and secondary school education is imparted by government, aided and private schools, under the School Education Department of the state.[10][11] As per the school information report for the academic year 2015-16, there are a total of 4 mandal parishad primary schools.[12] The total number of students enrolled in primary schools of the village are 112.[13]
