Paul Murphy (Australian journalist)

Paul Murphy is an Australian political journalist. He is the brother of Australian journalist Justin Murphy.

Murphy began his TV career as a reporter for the pioneering Australian nightly ABC-TV current affairs program This Day Tonight, which premiered in 1967 and he worked as a senior political reporter for the ABC for many years, including a period hosting the PM radio program.[1]

Paul was a regular guest on This Sporting Life, voicing parody advertisements and presenting the South Coast News segment.

More recently he was for several years the host of the respected SBS-TV current affairs program Dateline.
