History

PASHA Bank was established in Azerbaijan in 2007 and it is the largest private bank in its original market by total equity, and one of the top 5 banks by assets. Standard & Poor's assigned PASHA Bank a long-term rating of ‘BB-' and a short-term rating of 'B' with a stable outlook. Fitch Ratings rated PASHA Bank's long-term foreign currency Issuer Default Ratings (IDRs) at 'B+', with a stable outlook. PASHA Bank is a part of PASHA Holding, a private investment holding company based in Azerbaijan with interest in insurance, banking, property, development, construction, tourism, and other business.

PASHA Bank has been operating in Georgian since 2013 and in Turkey since early 2015.

Social Responsibility

PASHA Bank Georgia acts as a socially responsible institute by sponsoring and supporting different CSR events and activities. In 2015 the Bank initiated and supported following projects:

• Initiation of Spotlight Marketing Library that aims to create one comfortable space with the professional literature in Marketing, Branding, PR and other related fields that will be available for everyone interested in these subjects;
• Donation of funds to the charity organization “First Step Georgia” for the educational needs of children with intellectual and physical disabilities;
• Donation of funds to help the victims of the June 13 flash flood and daily support provided to the volunteers;
• Sponsoring Bright Georgia Summer Camp for Socially Vulnerable University Applicants.
• New Year charity gift to First Step Georgia - donating a painting by Rusudan Petviashvili - “The Choice” to the fund with the right to sell it directly or via auction.
• Activity on International Women’s Day - donating to Women’s Information Center.
