OS/VX is an open source router operating system based on modern Ubuntu runtime. It derives from VyOS project and provides some enhancements in system modules and functionality. OS/VX includes many mainstream networking applications such as Quagga, Strongswan, OpenVPN, and others.
OS/VX has standard management console similar to Juniper JUNOS or Cisco IOS (introduced in Vyatta) that simplifies configuration of the system and OS services. Standard Linux CLI system commands can be used for advanced configuration and management too.
Now the first release of OS/VX is in active development state. Bootable snapshot CD ISO images are available for downloading and testing at the website.
