Background

Bishop Gibbons High School was established in 1958 as an all-boys school. Bishop Gibbons was founded originally by the Irish Christian brothers. Notre Dame High School was established in the 1959 as an all-girls high school.[2] Bishop Gibbons and Notre Dame merged in 1975. The high school principal is Peter Fusco; the current middle school principal is Ritchard Harrigan.[3] Jim Tedisco attended Bishop Gibbons
