No Wising Up No Settling Down is a 2013 album by American alternative hip hop artist Sole.[2][3][4][5] It was released on May 1, 2013, to coincide with International Workers' Day.
Meant to be a sequel to A Ruthless Criticism of Everything Existing,[6] No Wising Up No Settling Down "is the second installment in the Ruthless Criticism of Everything Existing series", and "focuses more on the personal and social/philosophical aspects of the class struggle", abandoning the "overtly political song writing for a more subtle, honest, experimental and poetic approach", and "also harkens back to classic sole stream of consciousness poetry and noise styles."[7]
