Niigata Daigaku-mae Station (新潟大学前駅 Niigata Daigaku-mae-eki) is a train station in Nishi-ku, Niigata, Niigata Prefecture, Japan operated by East Japan Railway Company (JR East). It is aiso called Shin-dai-mae Station (新大前駅 Shin-dai-mae-eki).

History

The station opened on 8 April 1984. With the privatization of Japanese National Railways (JNR) on 1 April 1987, the station came under the control of JR East.
