Carlos Nicolás Cordero Álvarez (born January 17, 1988 in Montevideo, Uruguay) is a Uruguayan footballer who can play either as a defensive midfielder or full-back.

Career

Cordero started playing at the youth levels of Bella Vista before signing with Uruguayan giants Club Nacional de Football, being recommended by Nacional´s reserve team coach Gustavo Bueno.[1] In early 2015, he was called by Álvaro Gutiérrez to play on the first team of Nacional. He was selected for various calls pre matches, but was only selected to integrate the bench on 18 April against Racing Club, where he did not enter.

In August 2015, after not having had many chances with the first team of Nacional, he departed to Europe to play for Swedish club Dalkurd FF.[2] On August 23, he made his official debut on a 0-0 draw against Forward, replacing Diego Montiel on the 88 minute.
