Nicholas Matthew Banks (born November 18, 1994) is an American professional baseball outfielder for the Washington Nationals organization
Career
Banks formerly lived in Charlotte, North Carolina, but moved to Tomball, Texas when he was eleven,[1] and graduated from Tomball High School in 2013.[2]
Banks played college baseball for the Texas A&M Aggies. He was drafted by the Washington Nationals in the 4th round of the 2016 MLB draft. He signed and began his professional career with the Auburn Doubledays of the Class A-Short Season New York-Penn League.[3] Banks finished the 2016 with a .277 batting average and a .631 OPS.[4]
