National Ringette League playoffs

National Ringette League playoffs are the knockout match, round robin and tournament for determining the champion for National Ringette League.
Format
The current format consists of three parts: Knockout match, Elite eight and tournament.
- Knockout Stage: the best-of-match to determine the three East conference teams and one West conference team to advance to the Elite eight.
- Elte eight: the eight-team round robin matches. Each team play seven games one time and is held at one city from 2011-12 season.
- Tournament: the semifinal and final. Second and third place team in Elite eight go to the semifinal and winner against top team in Elite eight.
History
The playoffs was started from second season of the National Ringette League which was 2005-06 season.
In 2010-11 season, the playoffs held in just one city and from next season, the Elite eight and the tournament starts.
From the 2015-16 season, the number of teams in West conference became 4 so the Knockout stage consisted six East conference team and two West conference Team.
