Museo de Formas Espacios y Sonidos

Museo de Formas Espacios y Sonidos was a museum in San José, Costa Rica, located in the former Atlantic railway station at Calle 21/23. The station was built in 1908 and the museum opened in April 2002. The museum closed in October 2007.[1]

The Formas room of the museum featured numerous sculptures in wood and stone whilst the Espacios room featured scale models of buildings and the ruins of Ujarras.[2] The Sonidos room had a collection of musical instruments on display. The museum also had a notable collection related to the history of railways in Costa Rica, from a Locomotive 59, a 1939 steam locomotive imported from Philadelphia to a bust of Tomas Guardia who established the railway in the country.
