Multivision (Sri Lanka)
Multivision Comet Cable was a Pay TV service started in early 2000 in Sri Lanka. The service was provided using MMDS Technology. It was mainly available in the western province and had around 20 channels. The service was closed down when the company went bankrupt in late 2003.
Services
The service had 19-20 channels during its short period of operation. The service could be received with a monthly subscription using a MMDS antenna and Decoder Unit. During 2002 most of the channels had to be time shared due to lack of bandwidth spectrum and due to problems with operational cost.
