Mr Rutland
Mr Rutland (03(97)) is a male osprey who nests on the top of an oak tree, near Rutland Water.
Mr Rutland was one of the first chicks to be introduced to England, in 1997, and first nested in 2001. By 2015, at age 18, he had migrated some 100,000 miles (160,000 km).[1]
Descendants
As of May 2015 Mr Rutland had 32 chicks 46[2] grandchildren 15 great-grandchildren.[1]
