Mitra (Nebularia) cucumerina, common name : the kettle mitre, is a species of sea snail, a marine gastropod mollusk in the family Mitridae, the miters or miter snails.[2]

The shell size varies between 9 mm and 35 mm

Distribution

This species is distributed in the Red Sea and in the Indian Ocean along Aldabra, Chagos, Madagascar, Mauritius, and the Mascarene Basin; in the Pacific Ocean along Fiji, the Solomons Islands, the Philippines, Okinawa, Australia, Papua New Guinea Mauritius
