Miss India Australia

Miss India Australia, founded in 2001 by photographer/media/film producer Raj Suri, is the first ever-national talent search in Australia for women of Indian origin, affiliated to the Miss India Worldwide organisation in New York, USA and associated with Miss India Magazine.

History

The title "Miss India Australia" was used in 2001 in New South Wales.[1]

Final judgment

The winners are selected by a panel of judges from Bollywood though auditions and workshops in Australia by Raj Suri.

Miss India Australia 2014

The winner of Miss India Australia 2014 tiltle, Swetha Raj was sent to the Miss Asia Pacific Supertalent of the World 2014 pageant in Seoul, South Korea representing India. She eventually became the winner of the title. She became the third woman representing India to win the Miss Asia Pacific World title.
