The Ministry of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy is a ministry of the Government of Sri Lanka that directs the formulation and implementation of policies related to implementation, regulation and growth of Technology, Research and Atomic Energy in Sri Lanka.
The ministry is not responsible for tertiary education which comes under the Ministry of Higher Education; however, an institute of higher education does come under the ministry.
