Minami-Sakae Station (南栄駅 Minami-Sakae-eki) is a train station on the Toyohashi Railway’s Atsumi Line in Toyohashi, Aichi Prefecture, Japan. It is located 3.2 rail kilometers from the terminus of the line at Shin-Toyohashi Station.

Station History

Minami-Sakae Station was established in 1937 as Rikugun Byoin-mae Station (陸軍病院前駅) on the privately held Atsumi Railroad. On September 1, 1940, the Atsumi Railway became part of the Nagoya Railway system, but was spun out into the Toyohashi Railway on October 1, 1954. The station name changed to its present name on January 1947.
