Mikaila
Mikaila (born Mikaila Dominique Enriquez on December 15, 1986) is a pop singer and former child actress from Edmond, Oklahoma.
She is of French, Spanish and Native Mexican descent.
Biography
After moving to Dallas with her family, she became a regular at sporting events and sang at many Texas Rangers games. At that time, Marty Rendleman began guiding her career. After heading to New York, she had meetings with several labels. It was that same day that Island Records signed her. She also acted on the PBS children's series Wishbone as Melina Finch whose uncle owned Oakdale's Sports and Games store.
Career
Mikaila is best known for recording and performing the song "So In Love With Two" of her self-titled album in 2000 at the age of fourteen on Island Records. The song went to #29 in the Rhythmic Top 40 Billboard chart, #25 on the Billboard Hot 100 and #27 on Billboard 's Top 40 Mainstream. The album itself went to #20 on the Top Heatseekers chart.
Due to the oversaturation of teen pop in the music market, and Mikaila's resulting charting difficulties, only one follow-up single, "It's All Up To You," was released. However, "It's All Up To You" did not chart, and Mikaila retired from the music industry shortly after.[1]
Currently, She lives in Arizona and works as a waitress and she also has a daughter.
