Michael Leader (1938 – 22 August 2016)[1][2] was an English actor known for his roles in the British soap opera EastEnders and in the 1977 film Star Wars.
Career
Leader's debut film role was as a Stormtrooper in the original Star Wars film, who infamously walks into a door.[3][4][5] Leader also played Michael the milkman in the soap opera EastEnders since its first episode in 1985, and has also had minor appearances in the television programmes Doctor Who and Red Dwarf.[3][6]
Leader died on 22 August 2016.[3][4][5][6]
