Melanie Smith (born September 23, 1949) is an equestrian from the United States and Olympic champion. Born in Memphis, Tennessee, she won a gold medal in show jumping with the American team at the 1984 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.[1] In 1979, the Supersisters trading card set was produced and distributed; one of the cards featured Smith's name and picture.[2]
