Max Oliver Clark (born 19 January 1996) is an English footballer who plays for Cambridge United on loan from Hull City.
Club career
Born in Kingston upon Hull, England, Clark started out at Barham Boys Club before joining the Hull City's Academy, where he started his youth career.[3] After progressing through the academy, Clark signed his first professional contract with the club and was promoted to the Development Squad[4] After a season at the Development Squad, Clark signed a one-year contract extension with the club[5] and was once again extended.[6]
On 25 March 2016, Clark signed a loan deal with Cambridge United until the end of the 2015–16 season.[7] He made his debut on loan for Cambridge United on 25 March 2016 when he came on as a substitute for Luke Berry in the away match against Bristol Rovers.[8] Clark went on to make ten appearance for the 2015-16 season.
On 30 June 2016, he re-signed a six-month loan deal with Cambridge United.[9] Clark's first game after signing for the club on loan for a second spell came on the opening game of the season, in a 1-1 draw against Barnet.[10]
International career
While at the academy, Clark was first called-up by England U16 for the first time on 15 October 2010 against Wales U16.[3] Clark went on to make five appearance for England U16.
In August 2012, Clark was called-up by England U17 for the first time.[11] Clark played two matches for England U17 in two days against Italy U17 and Portugal U17.[12]
Clark was also called-up by England U18 for the first time in November 2013.[13]
Personal life
Clark attended Malet Lambert High School.[3]
