Marinid Tombs
The Marinid Tombs or Merenid Tombs are a few giant tombs on the hill above Fes, Morocco. The sepulchres possibly contain royal members or other important officials, and date to the Marinid Dynasty. Although the tombs are in ruins, some of the original inscriptions on them can still be observed. The tombs overlook the ancient 1200-year-old Fes medina, which are most apparent at sunset.[1]
