Major League Lacrosse Weekly Awards
In the 2001 inaugural season, Major League Lacrosse named an Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week. The first recipients were Jesse Hubbard of the New Jersey Pride (offensive) and Rob Doerr of the Baltimore Bayhawks (defensive).
In 2002, the league did not select any Players of the Week, but in 2003 they were back and a new award was added, Cascade Rookie of the Week.
