Mahant Gurbanta Das School for Deaf & Dumb, also referred to as the MGD School for Deaf & Dumb, is a school for deaf and dumb children in the city of Bathinda in the Panjab.[2][3] It is run by the District Red Cross Society of Bathinda,[4] and Maninder Kaur is the current principal of the school. Panjabi is the first language of the school.
Established in 1999, the school has a total strength of 178 students, including 75 girls.[2] Affiliated with the Punjab School Education Board, the school provides education up to 10th class and also computer education[5] and vocational courses.[2]
