Admission to the undergraduate courses is through the Maharashtra-Common Entrance Test (MHT-CET) for state-allocated seats (65%) and through the All India Engineering Entrance Examination (AIEEE) for the all-India seats.
Accolades
MIT is a part of National Knowledge Network, Government of India. It is the first academic institution in India which has been recognised as an Energy Service Company (ESCO) approved by the Bureau of Energy Efficiency under the Ministry of Power. In January 2010, MIT finished first at the Baja SAEIndia 2010 National Competition held at Pithampura, Indore.
