Lynn Julia Mester (born 27 March 1992) is a former German footballer who played for the Bundesliga club Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
Career
Club
Lynn Mester joined the 2009/10 season from the B youth of Westfalia Osterwick to Leverkusen.[2] They played there first in the 2. Bundesliga South and ascend for 2010/11 Bundesliga season with their team. With 18 goals scored; she was played mainly in midfield. She was top scorer of the team. But the club and Mester agreed in January 2011 on an immediate separation.[3]
National team
Lynn Mester completed for the youth teams of the DFB a total of 39 National Games. With the U-17 national team was in 2008 and 2009 European champion[4] and also finished third at the U-17 World Cup 2008 in New Zealand.
Personal life
Mester is the younger sister of Ina Mester, who plays for the SGS Essen. She is also the cousin of Mathias Mester, who as a midget javelin and discus thrower, among other things is a multiple world champion in athletics division of Bayer Leverkusen. She was romantically involved with Christian Clemens from FC Schalke 04.[5]
Mester made by Bayer AG training as an office clerk and now works in a company for Recruiters.
