Lorraine Clifford-Lee is a Fianna Fáil Senator. She was elected on to the Cultural and Educational Panel in 2016.[1]
Originally from County Waterford she was an unsuccessful candidate for the party in the Irish 2014 local elections to Dublin City Council for the Pembroke South Dock LEA. She ran in the Dublin Fingal constituency along with Darragh O'Brien at the Irish 2016 general election. She polled 3,359 first preferences and was eliminated on the ninth counth..
She lives in Portmarnock with her husband John Lee and her daughter. Her husband is the Political Editor of the Mail on Sunday newspaper.
She is a self-employed solicitor and is a fluent Irish speaker.
On her election to the Seanad she was chosen as the Fianna Fáil Seanad spokesperson for Justice, Children and Equality.
