Lori Moore

Lori Moore (born Marie Lorena Moore in 1957 in Glen Falls, New York)[1] is an American journalist who works for The New York Times.

She has written for the daily metropolitan[2] and culture pages, and the Arts and Leisure weekly section.

Education

She earned a Regents scholarship and attended St. Lawrence University where she majored in English. Moore is a graduate of Auburn University.

Personal

She has lived in Madison, Wisconsin for the past fourteen years.

Family

Moore has one son. Her father was an insurance executive and her mother was a nurse and housewife. She was the second of four children.

Career

After graduating college, she worked as a paralegal for two years in Manhattan, New York. She has been teaching courses in English at the University of Wisconsin since 1984.[1]

Books

Moore has written two novels and two short story collections.
