Little Door Gods (simplified Chinese: 小门神; traditional Chinese: 小門神), also known as Door Guardians,[2] is a 2016 Chinese animated fantasy comedy film directed by Gary Wang, produced by Light Chaser Animation Studios and distributed by Alibaba Pictures.[1] It was released on January 1, 2016.[4]
Plot
The film's main concern is that the Chinese Spirit World is fading out of colors, because humans no longer believe in gods anymore, causing two active Door Gods, Shen Tu (Gao Xiaosong) and Yu Lei (Luo Hongming), to struggle in the conflict of unemployment. One of them enters the human world to make humans believe, until chaotic events and strange transformations interrupt. Will Shen Tu and Yu Lei reduce the havoc before they will suffer?
